Adding your data
Nothing is added until you have checked it. Bomuno reads your files, proposes how they connect, and you decide.
Spreadsheets
Upload related CSV or Excel files together, and keep the ID columns that link them, such as a shipment ID. Bomuno proposes the kinds of record and the links between them. You review the proposal and answer any questions it has, then add the records.

Excel files must hold plain values. Macros, external links, embedded objects, hidden sheets and merged cells are refused, with a message saying what to change. More than 10,000 rows? Upload them in several files, one after another.
Documents
Under Data → Documents, upload TXT, PDF, PNG or JPEG files up to 8 MB. The original is kept unchanged. Bomuno extracts the text, and a person reviews it before it can be searched. A PDF that can run scripts or carries embedded files is blocked, and so is a program named as a document. This is not a full antivirus scan.
Updating later
Upload a refreshed file against the same source. Changed records keep their history, and a row missing from the new file is kept rather than deleted.
